Gain New Cultural Perspective
PHSC's Student Life and Leadership supports events and programs directly related to multicultural awareness among PHSC students and the community. Diversity and inclusion are promoted through activities, guest speakers, events and experiential learning opportunities that foster meaningful connections with others. Students will experience outside their native culture and comfort zone to prepare them for global citizenship and challenge their current thinking patterns.
Events include support and promotion of Hispanic Heritage Month, Peace Week, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, Black History Month, Women's History Month, Native American History Month, and others.
