The Tau Upsilon Alpha Honor Society is associated with the National Organization for Human Services and honors academic excellence; fosters lifelong learning, leadership and development; and promotes excellence in service to humanity. Membership is open to any full or part-time students enrolled in the associate degree program at PHSC who have a major in human services or a closely related field, agree to abide by the National Organization for Human Services Code of Ethics, have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have completed at least 12 hours in courses leading to the associate's degree. Membership applications must be submitted for review by the chapter advisor.
